Over the Easter holidays, our Greenwich Peninsula FC U10, U12 and U14 teams travelled to Benidorm, Spain, to take part in the Jugones Cup, a fantastic international tournament.
It was an unforgettable experience for all the players/parents, both on and off the pitch. Across all age groups, our teams performed brilliantly, playing high-quality football, winning several matches and progressing far into the tournament. While we didn’t return with a trophy this time, the effort, attitude and team spirit shown throughout the week made us extremely proud.
Beyond the competition, the players enjoyed the sunshine, team bonding, and the unique experience of facing teams from across Spain and other countries.
